Our new Pitch dining experience- Beyond Covid-19
We are constantly making changes to adhere to the most recent government guidelines across all of our restaurants and this forms our new ‘mindful dining policy’. These requirements and precautions are set to ensure you and our own teams are as safe as possible whilst still enjoying the Pitch experience for pleasure and whilst at work.
Standards in Pitch
We have undertaken rigorous decontamination throughout before reopening with a Covid-19 compliant company and now we are fully open these processes are carried out at regular intervals.
All touch points, handrails and door handles will be sanitised on regular intervals.
Safe spacing will be enforced, ensuring your table is 1m away from other tables. However you will of course be free to choose how closely you would like to sit next to your fellow guests.
In order to protect you and the Pitch team, all seating around our bar area has been removed. Vertical drinking is not permitted until further notice.
Restaurant doors will remain opened where possible to avoid “touch pads” contamination.
Sanitising stations are available for your use on entering the building.
New waiter stations in the restaurant will be stocked with sanitising wipes that are available on request.
The Pitch Team
All members of our team will ensure hands are clean and washed prior to leaving home and once again when they arrive at work.
All members of our team are required to provide a negative lateral flow test prior to arrival at work.
The team will be subject to temperature checks before commencing work and will be immediately sent home if a temperature is detected.
Sanitising stations are installed at all staff entrances.
The team have all completed a safe to trade Covid-19 health questionnaire.
Managers have passed Covid-19 safe to trade training course and continue to complete daily Covid-19 checklists to ensure compliancy.
The team are required to wear government approved face masks / coverings whilst working unless exempt.
All team members will wash their hands thoroughly every 30 minutes and have continuous access to hand sanitiser.
Our staff will refrain from physical contact with each other where possible.
Staff will not share food or drinks at all.
All common areas will be wiped down on regular intervals.
Cleaning check lists will be available for every area of the restaurant and wiped down after use.
We kindly ask you to wear a face covering/mask when entering or moving around the restaurant although this is not mandatory.
Our Dining experience
Our team are here to help you receive a “mindful” dining experience and discuss with you any extra measures we have taken to ensure your safety.
We will stagger arrival times to avoid queuing. However sometimes this may not be avoided due to certain individual circumstances. In this instance we will require one party member to wait and the rest of the party to remain outside in our outdoor seating area until your reservation is available.
We ask that you try to arrive promptly for your reservation to avoid any wait times and return the table as per your booking times. If you require longer booking times please advice us in advance and where possible we will aim to accommodate this.
All our menus have been replaced by an A4 wipeable menus where needed.
Water and wine will be served by your waiter, however available for you to self serve if preferred.
Sugar will be served in individual packets.
All tables and chairs are sanitised thoroughly after your visit.
Plates will be handled with a clean laundered napkin.
“Crumbing down” will be removed from our service standards unless you request this service.
We only except card payments only to avoid cross contamination.
Bill holders will be replaced by metal trays.
Card machines will be offered wiped down after each use.
